Welcome to Coach Funcia’s class! This year I am teaching Physical Education to 6th grade! I am a Florida State University proud graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, and a minor in Biology. I have spent 5 years of my 17 year teaching career in the classroom teaching math and science, and the other 12 years on the field teaching physical education.
Here at MAST Academy, I am the Varsity and Junior Varsity girls volleyball coach. We compete at the highest level of competition and have been very successful in each of the past 5 seasons. We have successfully competed in GMACS and the district competitions.
